Anybody There?, Formed in January of 2017, are a 4 piece Indie rock band consisting of  4 members.  Jacob Baggs (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Paul Mortimer-Jones (lead guitar and backing vocals), Meg Truscott (drums) and Karl Standerwick (bass guitar).

Jacob and Paul studied popular music together at University for 3 years and together they started Anybody There?. After then asking Meg and Karl, the band was fully formed and in March, their debut, self-titled EP was recorded.

Anybody There?’s Influences include immortal rock bands such as Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters and Oasis. However, less obviously, there are huge chunks of influence from modern Hip-Hop and Grime thrown in as well. Anybody There?’s sonic footprint would, for most, sound relatable to mainstream Indie Rock bands such as Catfish and the Bottlemen and Deaf Havana, however, these diverse influences have led to a unique sense of freshness and individualism.

Anybody There? performed their first headline show at The Victoria in Swindon on the 6th of July ’17. With reactions from the crowd being overwhelmingly positive, the band is fuelled with the drive needed to succeed.
